Day 1: Arriving At Leh
Upon arrival in Leh, our tour representative will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Once your check-in process is done, we’d recommend you to rest completely. Leh is located at 3500 meters above sea level, and some of you may feel discomfort due to the thin air. That’s why resting is important as it will help you adjust to the high altitude.
Leh offers breathtaking views of barren landscapes framed by the Himalayas, with beautiful monasteries and stupas scattered around. The old town’s markets, shops, and cafes are a joy to explore. In the late afternoon, you will take a short city tour, visiting Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. The Leh Palace, once a royal residence, now become a museum that has a collection of art and artifacts including, Chinese thangkas (paintings), crowns, jewelry, ceremonial dresses, and many more such things.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Indus Valley Monasteries Tour
After having breakfast, begin your tour of the Indus Valley monasteries. First of all, you’ll visit Hemis Monastery, the largest and most important in Ladakh, famous for the Hemis Festival and housing impressive gold statues and stupas adorned with precious stones.
After that, you’ll explore Thiksey Monastery, a multi-tiered structure that represents traditional Buddhist architecture and offers beautiful views of the surroundings.
Then, visit Shey Palace, the former capital of Ladakh, which is known for its gilded Buddha statue and panoramic views of the valley.
Your final stop is the Druk Padma Karpo School, made famous in the movie 3 Idiots. This award-winning school focuses on sustainable practices.
Return to your hotel in Leh for a relaxed afternoon, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Trip to Pangong Lake (140 km / 5 hrs)
Start your day with a delicious breakfast, then set off for Pangong Lake (14,000 ft) via the scenic Changla Pass. The drive takes you through Sakti Village and up the narrow, winding roads of the past, part of the historic Silk Route. Stop briefly at Changla Pass to capture photos.
Continue to Tangste, where you can stretch and enjoy a cup of hot tea. As you drive through small villages, the popular blue Pangong Lake will suddenly appear like an oasis in the desert.
At 14,000 ft, Pangong Lake sparkles amid brown and grey mountains, offering breathtaking views. This lake, featured in many Bollywood movies, is perfect for photography. Here, you can spend time exploring its beautiful shores before driving back to Leh in the afternoon.
Enjoy the evening at leisure, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (120 km)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, crossing the famous Khardung La Pas, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,390 feet. From the pass, enjoy stunning views of the Indus Valley, the Zanskar range to the south, and the Saser Massif to the north.
Continue your journey to Nubra Valley, also called the "Valley of Flowers," located between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges. Once a key stop on the ancient Silk Route, this picturesque valley is known for its sand dunes and Bactrian camels. As you arrive, you'll see Buddhist monasteries, prayer flags, and fields of barley.
Check-in to your hotel or camp in Hunder Village, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the nearby villages or visit a local Ladakhi home if you'd like to experience their way of life.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Leh (120 km / 5-hour drive)
After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest in Nubra Valley, featuring a 106-foot tall Maitreya Buddha statue. The monastery offers stunning views, with white chortens and stupas adding to the beauty.
Afterward, drive back to Leh, arriving in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the local markets and cafes. Try butter tea or pick up some souvenirs.
