Day 1: Arrival in Colombo | Transfer to Hotel (40 Kms)

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, our friendly local representative will meet and greet you at the exit area. He/she will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. On route to your hotel, just feel the vibrant sights of Colombo, the capital city. The journey from the airport to the hotel will take approximately 50 minutes. After reaching, check in to your hotel and have some rest.

The evening will be yourself, allowing you to relax in the comfort of your room or explore the local surroundings.

Day 2: Colombo - Pinnawala (85 km) - Kandy (45 km)

The second day of this trip will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Then, you’ll make your way to the City tour of Colombo. There, the echoes of its colonial past mingle with the buzzing life of the present. You’ll get the chance to admire the splendor of the 100-year-old clock tower and the structures from the colonial era. Come back and check out from the hotel.

Now, we move from Colombo to Pinnawala, a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours. At Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, witness the remarkable care provided to orphaned and abandoned elephants. You’ll get an opportunity to watch these giants play in the river and enjoy giving them bananas. Following this heartwarming experience, continue your journey to Kandy. It takes about an hour to get there. Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel and relax.

Day 3: Fully Day City Tour of Kandy

Start your morning with breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to your exploration of Kandy. Today, you’ll go to Peradeniya to discover the enchanting Royal Botanical Garden. It is renowned for its huge collection of orchids and various plant species. This Botanical Garden is spread across 147 acres.

After that, return to Kandy and admire the scenic lake, a legacy of the last Sinhala king. The day will continue with visits to an arts and crafts center, a gem museum, and a local bazaar. The holy Buddhist temple known as the Temple of the Tooth Relic will be the last stop of the day. Then, make your way to the hotel after a day full of experience.

Day 4: Transfer to Kandy from Colombo | Departure

As it’s your departure day, check out from the hotel once you’ve had a satisfying breakfast. Say goodbye to the amazing city of Kandy, as you proceed your journey back to Colombo. The transfer to Colombo Airport takes approximately 2 hours. Take your return flight with unforgettable memories from this trip.
