Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi From New Delhi on (Vande Bharat Express)

Board the Vande Bharat train early in the morning. This journey will take 8 eight hours to reach Varanasi. Indian Railways has a set menu for tea, snacks, and meals that are offered on board.

Upon arrival at the Varanasi Junction, our representative will meet, greet, and take you to the hotel. Following a warm reception in the hotel lobby, check in and unwind yourself.

Varanasi, once known as Benares, is one of the seven holiest cities and the most visited destinations for Hindus. The place is believed to have the ability to make amends for sins. This is because Varanasi is situated on the banks of the holy Ganges River.

Then, you’ll visit the local market near Ghats Crossing in the evening to see the Ganges Aarti Ceremony. This ritual, called “Agni Pooja,” is offered to Lord Shiva, the universe, the River Ganga, Surya (the Sun), and Agni (the Fire).

Later, go back to the hotel in Varanasi and spend overnight there.

Note: Please note that to get to the ghats, you have to walk through the market, which is around a half-kilometer.

Day 2: Visiting Varanasi City Temples and Sarnath

Today, you have to get up early to take a river tour. There, you can enjoy a boat ride on the sacred River Ganges. Then, you’ll visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Later, you’ll begin with a temple tour that includes, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Hanuman Temple, and the New Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.

When you’re done exploring temples, head back to the hotel.

After having a small relax, continue your sightseeing tour in the afternoon. You’ll get to see the outskirts of Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first speech in Deer Park. There are also remarkable remains along with a modern temple. Apart from that, there are the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka and the ruins of a monastery. You’ll also get an opportunity to visit the Museum and Park.

The Emperor Ashoka established Sarnath as a center for Buddhist worship in the 3rd century BC.

In the evening, return to your hotel and you’ll have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. Spend your night at the Varanasi Hotel.

Note: It should be noted that visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Darshan and Pooja) will come at an additional cost.

Day 3: Transfer to Railway Station | Departure From Varanasi to New Delhi

Now, it's time to go home, start your morning with a delicious breakfast, and then pack your things quickly. Now, check out from the hotel at the specified time on the final itinerary. If you have enough time, you can use the hotel’s on-site facilities also.

After that, our representative will take you to the Varanasi railway station. But, be sure to reach there at least half an hour before the Vande Bharat Express train to New Delhi is scheduled to depart. The culinary staff of Indian Railway will provide set menu meals on the train, and enjoy them one by one.
